29/11/2011Do you turn off your mobile phone, in which minute after start of the day do you reach for it? Your mobile device ( the one that is inseparable , the thing that you start your day with, that help you in solving most tasks ) is a mobile phone, laptop or may be a tablet, iPad?
- The mobile communications, in particular the mobile phone, are already an inseparable part of my professional and personal life. My work is connected to constant traveling – visiting of company’s sites in Varna, Burgas, Sofia, work meetings with designers and contractors on the construction sites, business meetings at the offices of prospective customers and investors. My day rarely passes in the office and with this work schedule, the presence of constant contact with colleagues, partners, suppliers and others is extremely important for the management of processes. My mobile phone is switched on 24/7 – on a different ringing mode depending on the current situation. Even if I don’t have the opportunity to answer the call at the very moment, later I return the missed calls. I am convinced that the use of the mobile phone in everyday work is part of a new kind of business culture and education, namely, that we use to convey important, structured and concise information. For friendly communication I prefer if possible the personal meeting and life contact.
It is not a secret to anybody that the mobile communications are no longer only telephone conversations. Is there a mobile application that you use and in what way it is useful for you?
- That is right, the mobile phone is a device that gives me not only the possibility to be in constant contact with head of the departments of the company but also to receive reports, tables, schedules and other information, reachable through the mobile applications for internet, e-mail and opening of different file formats. I had to use the navigation, when I travel abroad.
Which one is for you the telecom product/ service of the future?
- The fact is that technology is moving faster than people can adopt and effectively use the opportunities they provide. I notice that new versions of mobile devices are increasing opportunities for the visualization of information simpler interface, have more complex functions. I expect the mobile phone soon to become something like a personal assistant to its owner - starting with control of vital signs (blood pressure, temperature) and moving to an electronic signature (identification) of documents and contracts. It is a matter of time.
If you go back in time and remember your work without the mobile phone, mobile internet, laptop, can you identify their three main advantages that now make your business more efficient?
- The meaning lies in the word "mobile" – the modern communications provide freedom of action despite of the physical location. Users have quick access to information and adequate opportunity to respond promptly. Factors for business performance are constant control and preventive measures - all this can be provided by mobile communication.
What is the happiest news that you have heard or announced, using your mobile phone?
- Many are the good and the bad news, I have heard on my mobile phone and I wouldn’t specify. But I feel calmer and more satisfied, when I receive information for favorable completion of a successful business negotiations or solving a problem. Personally I am glad that the mobile connections give me opportunities to hear my children, who are already grown up and living away from home.
